I lived in Ukraine from 2003 -2008. During that time I became Director of the Art Development Foundation EIDOS, whose main aim is to develop the art scene in the country and promote young Ukrainian artists. In 2008 I became the Vice President of the Festival of Contemporary Art GOGOLFEST in Kiev. The years in Ukraine and the work there gave me the opportunity to get in close contact and work with many good artists, some of them are now presenting the country at the Biennale like Venice, Bucharest or Athens. Others are selling at big auctions. I know all the artists personally and with everybody there is some moment I like to share. It is my wish to make the artists from Eastern Europe known to a wider European audience. Back in London I make my dream true and exhibit now at private views their work. In 2009 the work of Viktor Pakidanetz, Igor Gusev, Ilja Chichkan, Alexander Gnilitsky and Sergej Prin were shown.
